Swedish tour player Albin Tidén has had a dream start to 2026. In the season premiere GolfStar Winter Series Dunes on the Cutter & Buck Tour , played at Empordà Golf Club outside Girona – in practice the “Barcelona area” on the Costa Brava – Albin emerged as the final winner at -15 after round scores of 65, 66 and 68 , a full four strokes ahead of second place .

The GolfStar Winter Series is the kick-off for the Cutter & Buck Tour 2026, with two international competitions in Spain in February. This year's Dunes competition was played 14–16 February 2026 over 54 holes with a cut after 36 holes. Winning straight away in the premiere says a lot about form – and about the ability to deliver when it matters.
