Best all-weather glove 2026 - we think Dura Goat™

BEST IN TEST 2026: Best all-weather glove – our indoor wear test

For many golfers, the all-weather glove is the most used glove in the bag. It should function over time, withstand many strokes and retain both grip and feel. Ahead of the 2026 season, we at Golfvante have therefore conducted a comparative test of all-weather gloves in an indoor environment (simulator) , where we evaluated both our own models and established alternatives on the market.

The test is an internal usage test conducted by Golfvante in an indoor environment. The results are based on our own observations and should not be viewed as an independent laboratory test.

How the test was conducted

The test was conducted in a controlled indoor environment to compare durability, grip and feel under repeated impact, without the influence of rain, cold or natural moisture.

  • ✔️ Three indoor rounds per glove in golf simulator
  • ✔️ Test period: November 2025, December 2025 and January 2026
  • ✔️ Focus primarily on wear, with complementary assessment of grip and feel
  • ✔️ Same type of game and similar conditions for all gloves
  • ✔️ The test was supplemented with customer feedback from golfers who have played many indoor rounds with Dura Goat™

Tested golf gloves

  • Dura Goat™ – Golf Glove
  • Anchor – Golf glove
  • Synth – Golf glove
  • Two all-weather gloves from well-known, international golf brands
  • Norma – Golf glove (reference / budget model)

Results – placement in our indoor test

The rankings below are based on our overall assessment of durability, retained feel and grip after repeated use in the simulator.

🥇 1st Place - Dura Goat™ (Golf Glove)

Dura Goat™ showed the least visible wear in the test. After several indoor rounds, the material, fit and grip remained largely unchanged.

Our observations are also reinforced by customer feedback. One of our customers, Per Magnusson , describes his experience like this:

“I had the privilege of trying this glove and I can only give it full marks. The glove is incredibly durable and after 10 rounds indoors it is barely noticeable. Normally I wear out a leather glove in 2-3 rounds.”
// Per Magnusson

Based on our indoor test, this indicates that the material choice and construction of Dura Goat™ provide very good wear resistance under repeated impact.

🥈 2nd place – Established international brand

The second-place glove performed stably throughout the test and showed relatively low levels of wear, although compared to Dura Goat™, there was a slightly greater impact on the material over time.

🥉 3rd place – Established international brand

This model showed more obvious wear after the same use. The glove was still playable, but with a noticeable decline in feel compared to its initial condition.

4th Place – Anchor (Golf Glove)

Anchor had a good feel at the beginning of the test but showed more obvious wear after the test period. The glove works well, but is not designed with maximum durability as the primary focus.

5th place – Synth (Golf Glove)

The Synth showed more extensive wear than the Anchor. The model fulfills its role as a simpler all-round glove, but is not designed for long-term play with high wear.

6th place – Norma (Golf glove)

Norma showed clear signs of wear after the test period. This is entirely in line with the model's position as a price-conscious training and backup glove.

Important to know

As the test was conducted exclusively indoors, factors such as rain, cold, natural moisture and dirt did not affect the results. The result should therefore be seen as a comparison of durability and grip during controlled indoor play – not as a full weather test.

Our position

We are clear that this is an internal, non-scientific indoor test and that experiences may vary depending on playing style, grip and application. That said, we feel that Dura Goat™ performed best in our comparison.

Based on our indoor testing, we believe the Dura Goat™ is one of the most durable all-weather gloves we have played with heading into 2026.

Summary

✔️ Very low degree of wear during indoor play
✔️ Stable grip during repeated impact
✔️ Positive customer feedback from simulator golf
✔️ A clear further development of Anchor

Dura Goat™ is designed for golfers who play a lot – both indoors and outdoors – and are looking for a durable glove with a focus on grip and durability over time.
