Choosing the right golf glove is crucial for both comfort and performance
Golfvante has analyzed the size distribution among over 50,000 gloves sold and identified clear trends for men and women, as well as differences between right- and left-handed gloves.
Men's gloves: Left hand dominates
Most male golfers are right-handed, meaning left-handed gloves dominate. Size ML (Medium-Large) is the most popular with 32.5% of left-handed gloves, followed by Medium (25%) and Large (11%). XL and XXL are less common but in demand.
For right-handed gloves, size M/L is the most sold with 4.4% of sales.
Women's gloves: Medium is most popular
Among women, Medium is the most common size for left-handed gloves (33.2%), followed by Small (20.2%). M/L and Large are also popular, while XL has lower demand.
For right-handed gloves, M/L dominates with 13% of sales, followed by Medium (3.8%) and Small (2.3%).
Gender distribution and insights
Our analysis shows that 87.1% of our customers are male, while 12.9% are female, reflecting the general gender distribution in golf. Regardless of gender, left-handed gloves are most common, and sizes Medium-Large and Medium are the most popular. These insights help us optimize our range for all golfers.
