How a sponsorship collaboration with a Swedish tour player grew into its own product – and what it says about what is required at the competition level.

In January 2026, we announced that we were extending our partnership with Albin Tidén, one of Sweden's most promising golf professionals, until 2027. A few months later, he was playing with his own glove that bears his own name. This is the story of how it happened - and why a tour player's demands for feel, fit and grip eventually became a product of its own in our range.
Early years: coffee, TG XXV and ESTÁNDAR™
It all started with a first meeting at Bokskogens Golf Club in early 2025 – a cup of coffee to see if there was something to build together. Albin liked what he saw: a cocky upstart with stuff that actually lived up to the hype. Shortly after, we began sponsorship.
Albin already had a strong 2024 behind him, with a victory at the Sand Valley Championship in the Nordic Golf League – four strokes ahead of second and 17 under par. The goal going forward was clear: build on that form, with an eye on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour later on.
In 2025, Albin played with two of our existing models – the TG XXV and the ESTÁNDAR™ , our thinnest and most tour-oriented glove in AAA cabretta. He also played on the ECCO Tour, including the Catalunya Championship and Greatdays Trophy, and we began regularly sharing his results and photos from competitive play during the season.
On February 14–16, 2026, the first big confirmation of the year came: a season-opening victory in the GolfStar Winter Series Dunes on the Cutter & Buck Tour, at Empordà Golf Club outside Girona. Albin won at -15, four strokes ahead of second place – wearing ESTÁNDAR™.
From player to partner: the AT glove takes shape
In January 2026, the collaboration took another step: we announced that we were extending the agreement with Albin until 2027. At the same time, Albin and I had long discussed something bigger than just choosing the right existing model from the shelf. What is really required of a glove when margins are at their lowest at competition level? The answer was a custom model, developed together with Albin based on his specific requirements for fit, thinness and grip.
On February 11, 2026, we launched the Albin "AT" Tidén Tour Edition – made of ultra-thin AAA cabretta from Indonesia, with a tight tour fit and the same grip and stability that Albin himself demands in competition. As we wrote when the glove was launched: "Tour feel is not a marketing word. It is the result of the right material, the right fit and the right requirements." The glove is available in both men's and women's versions.
On May 1, 2026, our team tested the glove live at Trelleborgs Golf Club, and was able to confirm the same thing that Albin himself described: stable grip, direct feel and a fit that fits like a second skin.
What glove does Albin Tidén play with? In 2025, Albin Tidén played with Golfvante's TG XXV and ESTÁNDAR™. Since February 2026, he has been playing with his own signature model, the Albin "AT" Tidén Tour Edition, which he developed together with Golfvante.
A strong season
2026 has been Albin's strongest season so far. In addition to his victory in Barcelona in February, he started the year with another win, in Poland, and in April took the lead in the Nordic Golf League's Order of Merit. In May, we followed him on site during the HotelPlanner Tour in Odense, Denmark – a trip that provided a clear reminder of how crucial equipment is at this level: "The golf glove is one of the most critical points of contact between the player and the club."
Most recently, on August 14, 2026, Albin finished tied for 20th in the FootJoy Skåne Challenge at Söderslätts Golfklubb – at -6 after a strong weekend that started with two eagles in the first round. He played, as he does in every competition now, with his own AT glove.
What is the difference between the ESTÁNDAR™ and the Albin "AT" Tidén glove? Both are made of AAA cabretta with the same thin, tour-oriented construction. The ESTÁNDAR™ is Golfvante's regular tour model, while the AT glove is a signature version fine-tuned together with Albin Tidén based on his personal requirements for fit and grip.
