Complaints, Return policy & Quality at Golfvante

At Golfvante.com we want you as a customer to always feel confident with your purchase. We work hard to manufacture some of the world's best golf gloves, using materials that are considered among the best in the world. At the same time, we know that mistakes can occur and that sometimes it can be difficult to choose the right model or material - especially if you are new to golf.

We are here for everyone – from beginners to professionals – and should something go wrong, our complaints and returns policy applies in accordance with Swedish consumer law.

The purpose of this article is to explain why we have a complaints policy, how it works and what you as a customer can expect.

Quick facts – your rights at Golfvante

  • Right of withdrawal: 21 days (legal requirement is 14 days - we give you extra security).
  • Right of complaint: 3 years according to law.
  • Goodwill policy: Replacement in case of abnormally rapid wear within 2 rounds (approx. 300 strokes).
  • Return shipping: The customer pays in the event of a right of withdrawal, Golfvante pays in the event of an approved complaint.

Why we have a complaints policy

Golf gloves are consumables . They wear out with every grip, every stroke, and every hour on the course – and even when they’re not in use. Leather dries out over time, and leaving a glove wet in the bag will negatively affect it.

Examples of factors that affect lifespan:

  • playing style and grip strength
  • weather conditions and humidity
  • palm sweat
  • fit and grip of the club
  • storage
  • the shape of the hand
  • sharp nails or rough handling

Therefore, we cannot provide an unlimited guarantee, but our policy is based on the requirements of the Consumer Act combined with common sense and customer focus.

Right of complaint – what does it actually mean?

As a customer, you always have a three-year right of complaint according to law. However, since golf gloves wear naturally, they are considered consumables. Complaints are therefore only valid if there are clear signs of a production defect, or if the glove does not correspond to normal quality within a reasonable time.

It is important to understand that rapid wear is not always a defect. For example, it is not normally a production defect if a glove cracks after three rounds – it could be because the glove was too big or because it was pulled on too tightly.

Golf gloves are sewn to provide maximum feel – they should fit like an extra skin . This means that the material always balances on the edge of what it can handle, precisely to meet the high demands of golfers.

As a customer, it is important to:

  • choose the right size (tight but not too tight),
  • Put on and take off the glove carefully,
  • have realistic expectations about life expectancy.

Right of withdrawal – 21 days

We want to give you extra security and therefore offer a 21-day right of withdrawal instead of the legal 14 days.

  • Valid from the day you receive your order.
  • The product must be unused and in saleable condition with original packaging.
  • Contact us at [email protected] to exercise your right of withdrawal.

If the right of withdrawal is approved, we will refund the product's value (excluding shipping) as soon as we have received the goods. Return shipping is paid by the customer.

Complaints and returns – how to do it

If something is wrong with your item, we will of course take responsibility.

  1. Please contact us for approval before returning.
  2. Make the complaint immediately after the error is discovered.
  3. Email [email protected] with your name, address, email address, order number, description of the error and preferably pictures. We may sometimes get back to you with follow-up questions.

If the complaint is approved, we will deliver a new item or refund you. We always cover the return shipping.

Handling errors – when a complaint does not apply

The complaint does not apply if:

  • the glove was used in the wrong size (too tight or too loose),
  • it has been used for sports other than golf,
  • it has been worn out by normal play over a long period of time,
  • It has been used more than about 300 times .

Goodwill: We can, however, replace gloves that are no more than one year old and have been used in a maximum of two rounds (approximately 300 punches including training), if we judge that the quality has not met normal standards. We sometimes do this even if the wear is due to handling errors.

Materials and durability

  • Cabretta leather dries and ages – use within 12 months.
  • Colored gloves can bleed, especially bright colors.
  • Printed designs may crack or wear off with use.
  • A certain scent from the tanning process may be present on some models.
  • Synthetic leather can be more fragile and requires proper care for best durability.

Quality and craftsmanship

All our golf gloves are hand-sewn . Small variations in seams, fit or finger roots may occur. These do not affect function but are a natural part of the craftsmanship.

Summary

  • 21-day right of withdrawal – more than the legal requirement.
  • Three-year right of complaint – according to Swedish law.
  • Complaints after 12 months only apply in the event of clear production defects.
  • Goodwill policy: we can replace gloves in case of abnormally rapid wear within two rounds.
  • Always clear, honest and customer-focused service.
