Golfvante was founded in 2021 in Skåne, Sweden – by golfers, for golfers. Rather than selling a single model, we offer everything from affordable practice and spare gloves to tour-inspired AAA cabretta leather, so you never have to look anywhere else for your golf glove.
We work continuously with feedback from customers and golf retailers to improve fit, materials and grip – rather than settling for a finished concept. Today everyone from tour players to beginners plays in Golfvante, in several countries across Europe.

STANDARD is our all-round glove in cabretta leather for most golfers, while xTHIN™ and ESTÁNDAR™ give a thinner feel with a more tour-inspired fit.
Dura Goat™ is our durable all-weather glove with synthetic materials and water-resistant goatskin in the grip zones for a secure grip even in rain and cold. We also offer our SYNTH series with Anchor and Norma – affordable entry-level models for those new to golf or who want a simpler alternative. Choose the model that best suits how and in what conditions you play.
Read more about the modelsIt is almost always down to your grip, not the glove. If you hold the club too much in your palm, the butt end of the club sits close to the thick pad at the base of your hand – and if the grip moves against the glove during the swing, friction builds at exactly the same spot, shot after shot, until the leather wears thin, cracks or tears.
If the club sits more across the fingers it is held more securely and wear is greatly reduced. The wrong size makes it worse, because loose material in the palm catches in the grip more easily.
Read the full guideAt Golfvante we have chosen to use our own classification. Normally the AA/AAA designation refers to the grading of the leather, but there is no standard applied consistently across the industry. That is why we use AA, AA+ and AAA to indicate how thin and premium the leather is.
AA is typically a slightly thicker leather of medium quality, AA+ is thinner and of higher quality, and AAA is our finest quality – usually Indonesian cabretta leather.

Most of our tour gloves – including ESTÁNDAR™️, the TG series, CAMARERO and 804 "AT" – are made from cabretta leather sourced from the area around Yogyakarta in Indonesia, where tanneries have specialised in exactly the combination of softness and elasticity that delivers a true tour feel.
The leather should follow the hand and grip without becoming loose or sloppy.

Measure the length of your hand and the circumference around your knuckles, and always size down rather than up – cabretta leather moulds to your hand over time.
Read the fit guideThe lifespan of a golf glove depends on the model, how often you play and your grip – there is no single answer. Grip technique has the biggest impact: if you hold the club in your palm the leather wears quickly regardless of quality, and if that is your tendency we recommend Dura Goat.
Weather, moisture and proper storage also extend lifespan, while holes, shiny worn patches or a loose velcro closure are the signs that it is time for a new one.
Read more about glove lifespanIt is not about which hand you use in everyday life, but about how you swing. Right-handed players wear the glove on the left hand, left-handed players on the right – always on the hand that leads the swing and grips highest on the club.
One glove is enough for most players; two are mainly used in wet conditions, and wearing both is otherwise uncommon.
